Super Bowl LIV May Affect Your Commute

football-player-260556_1280-1All eyes are on the upcoming Super Bowl LIV happening right here in South Florida. As with any major event of this magnitude, there will be lots going on, including several road closures that may affect your commute to work or a certain place you plan to go in the coming days.

Biscayne Boulevard serves as the primary arterial roadway in the downtown area of Miami. Several roads are expected close, particularly near the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and Bayfront Park. The latter is serving as the host of Super Bowl Live starting this weekend, a free event for families centered around various activities with a football theme.

Over in Miami Beach, expect to see road closures near the Miami Beach Convention Center and several more once Super Bowl Sunday gets closer. The convention center is also hosting a Super Bowl event, this one appropriately called the Super Bowl Experience. The “football theme park” is happening this weekend and will return on January 39th through the first of February. Miami Beach visitors should also know that popular Ocean Drive will be open solely to pedestrians beginning January 31 through February 3.
