The Miami Police Officers were pursuing a white Mercedes suspected of a bank robbery and Brian White was a passenger in that car. When they stop at a red light at 33rd Avenue and 11th Street, the driver jumps out of the car and White stayed inside
“Everything happened so fast that it felt like I was in a movie. They’re like ‘put your hands up.’ I put my hands up and then right after that they pulled me out of the car, threw me on the floor and beat me up.”
White was arrested for participating as a passenger in a high-speed pursuit and booked on charges of battery on an officer while resisting arrest with violence. He was released on Wednesday July 8th.
